Customer authentication with username, password and OTP
Your ABC Digital Banking account can only be accessed with your unique username, login password and an OTP generated using Bank ABC OTP App or OTP Security Token.
Strong end-to-end encryption
All information transmitted through the Internet, including your username, password, account information and transaction details, from the moment you log in to the moment you log out, are protected by strong end-to-end encryptio
In cases when you are logged in, but away from your device for a period than five your session will automatically end
In order to provide you with added protection, we do not allow concurrent logins. If an attempt is made to log in while one session is active, we will assume that it is you who is trying to log in again and will automatically end the first session. If this happens, a message will be displayed on the screen.
Attempts to login with wrong password or OTP
If an attempt is made to access your account using incorrect password or OTP, we will disable your username after five consecutive incorrect tries for a period of one hour. If you need to reactivate your username sooner, please call the contact centre.
Last login date and time
Each time you log in, we will present you with the details of the last login date and time. You can see this information on the top right side of your screen.

Using Bank ABC Digital Banking

- Instant Payment – If you select this option, the amount will be credited to your credit card account immediately. Please note that this service may attract a service fee.
- Regular payment – If you select this option, the amount will be credited to your credit card account in the usual course of business, usually the next business day.

Can I register for bill payments with eFAWATEERcom?
Yes, you can register for bill payments with eFAWATEERcom using ABC Digital Banking. If you haven’t created your profile with eFAWATEERcom, you can do so by logging on to Bank ABC Digital Banking. You can manage your eFAWATEERcom profile any time you desire. Please note, your address and contact details, as appearing in the eFAWATEERcom page should be same as those in Bank’s records.
- My Funds Transfer: For transferring funds between your Bank ABC Jordan accounts. Your accounts can be in Jordanian Dinars or a foreign currency. Some restrictions may apply.
- Domestic Transfer: For transferring funds to another account within Bank ABC Jordan or to another account within Jordan. The beneficiary’s account could be in Jordanian Dinar or in foreign currency.
Please note that these two transfers will be processed immediately provided the accounts are in Jordanian Dinars. In case of cross currency transactions, currency limits may apply.

Who is eligible to use the digital banking platform?
All Bank ABC clients with authorised access are eligible to use ABC digital. You need to have a valid user ID, password and a mobile phone capable of generating One-Time-Password (OTP) using Bank ABC OTP App. You may request your RM for a Bank ABC OTP Device instead of using a smart phone.

What are the service hours of ABC Digital?
Bank ABC’s digital banking service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Note: Funds Transfers are subject to cut-off times.
I have a username and password. Can I log in to ABC Digital?
Yes, you can. Please access the login page on digital.bank-abc.com then you will be guided through the process of logging in to ABC Digital Banking for the first time. In order to login, you also need to have a mobile device capable of downloading Bank ABC OTP App or an ABC OTP Device, and access to your email registered with the Bank.

I am a Bank ABC customer but do not have login credentials. How do I access ABC Digital?
If you do not have a username and password, send us a registration request for ABC Digital and fill out the required form for corporate clients. We will get in touch with you regarding the next steps.
In order to successfully access your accounts on ABC Digital, you need to have a username and password provided by Bank ABC and a mobile device capable of generating an OTP. Bank ABC OTP App can be downloaded from Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Or, you can request the ABC OTP Device to generate OTP.
Can I log out from ABC Digital by closing the browser application?
If you do so, you only close the browser and not necessarily log out from the digital banking platform. As a prudent practice to ensure safety of your account, we strongly recommend that you always click the ‘Logoff’ icon to log out from ABC Digital and close the browser.
What do I need to start using ABC Digital?
No special software is required to access ABC Digital. All you need is a computer, tablet or a mobile device and Internet connection. Your mobile device must be capable of downloading Bank ABC OTP app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store. If for any reason you do not have access to a smart phone, request your RM for an ABC OTP Device.
Can I use any browser to access ABC Digital?
For the sake of providing you with a safe environment while you use ABC Digital, we recommend using the latest operating systems and web browsers versions. The use of old operating systems or browsers versions may significantly reduce your user experience.
Is ABC Digital a paid service?
ABC Digital is a service offered free of cost to our clients. However, please note that use of some services are subject to corresponding service charge.
Using ABC Digital Banking
What banking transactions can be performed using ABC Digital Banking?

Can I nickname my accounts?
Yes, you can personalise your accounts by creating nicknames for easier referencing. You can do so from the ‘My Accounts’ menu. Click on the account name under the label ‘Nickname’ and create a nickname you like. You can also change the nickname any time.
We have always regarded security to be our top priority and therefore have adopted very high standards and tight controls in managing our computer systems and networks.
How safe is ABC Digital?
You can be assured of complete privacy when using our digital banking platform. The system features several check points to ensure maximum security for your Internet banking transactions. In our continued effort to safeguard Internet banking transactions, we use full 128-bit encryption. Encryption is a process that transforms sensitive information into a string of unrecognizable characters before they are sent over the Internet and helps keep information private between the Bank's computer system and your Internet browser. In addition to encryption, we have also introduced an extra layer of security, which is “Two-Factor Authentication” using a One-Time-Password [OTP] along with your unique username and password to grant you access to the required service. If one of your credentials has been inputted wrongly consecutively for five times, the account will be locked for one hour. Your account can be accessed after the expiry of this time. These features work together to maximize the security of your digital banking experience.
What measures have been implemented to safeguard the digital banking experience?
We have implemented comprehensive security measures to safeguard your use of the digital banking system. These include:
Customer authentication with username, password and OTP: Your ABC Digital Banking account can only be accessed with a unique username, login password and an OTP generated using Bank ABC OTP App or ABC OTP Device.
Strong end-to-end encryption: All information transmitted through the Internet, including your username, password, account information and transaction details, from the moment you log in to the moment you log out, are protected by strong end-to-end encryption.
Automatic logout: In cases when you are logged in, but away from your device for a period more than five minutes your session will automatically end.
Concurrent login: In order to provide added protection, we do not allow concurrent logins. If an attempt is made to log in while one session is active, we will assume that it is the same user trying to log in again and will automatically end the first session. If this happens, a message will be displayed on the screen.
Attempts to login with wrong password or OTP: If an attempt is made to access your account using incorrect password or OTP, the system will disable your username after consecutive incorrect tries for a period of one hour. If you need to reactivate your username sooner, please contact us.
Last login date and time: Each time you log in, the system shows you the details of the last login date and time. You can see this information on the top right side of your screen.
Why can I still see some of my account information even after I have exited ABC Digital?
Browser software often saves or "caches" pages in your computer's temporary memory. This means that even after you log off ABC Digital Banking, it is possible to view a version of a previously viewed page by clicking the ‘Back’ button on the browser. If you are uncomfortable leaving these pages in temporary memory, you should always click on the "Logoff" button to end your digital banking session and then close the browser to clear the memory. Please note that caching in no way affects the confidentiality of your username or password.
Username, Password and One-Time-password (OTP)
I already have a username and password, how can I access ABC Digital?
In addition to the username and password, we have introduced a One-Time-Password (OTP) to ensure your secure access to ABC Digital Banking. You will be guided through the process of generating the OTP once you access the login page. Please remember that your mobile device must be capable of downloading ABC OTP app.
You will be required to access your email registered with the Bank during the OTP binding process.

I do not have a Username and Password, what should I do?
If you have an account with Bank ABC, please submit an online registration form requesting a Username and Password. After you receive your credentials, please log in to access ABC Digital. You will be guided through the process of generating the OTP once you access the Login page. Please remember that your mobile device must be capable of downloading Bank ABC OTP app. Once you have successfully logged in, we will require you to change your password to make it your own.

What is an OTP?
OTP is a unique single-use security code, unique to your account. This is generated by the Bank ABC OTP App, which can be downloaded either from Apple App Store or Android Play store, or through ABC OTP Device. You will be required to use a private 6-digit PIN code or your fingerprint (if your device supports fingerprint/ touch ID feature) to open the application. Please remember this PIN code and ensure that it is known only to you.
Your app is bound to your device and NOT to your mobile number. Therefore, if you change your device, please remember to install the app on your new device and go through the app binding process so that you can generate a valid OTP. You will need the OTP to log in to Digital Banking, complete financial transactions and for making certain requests.
How do I generate an OTP?
If you have a valid username and password and have downloaded and installed the Bank ABC OTP app, please access the login page and follow the steps to complete the first-time sign-in process. Please note that you will be required to access your email registered with the Bank during this process. Once your device is bound, you can access the app using your private PIN Code/fingerprint and generate the required OTP.

Can I generate OTP if I am abroad?
Yes, you can generate OTP even if you are abroad as it is an offline application. You do not require Internet access on your mobile device in order to generate an OTP.
What if I do not have access to a mobile phone?
If you don’t have access to a mobile device, or the device is old and does not support Bank ABC OTP app, Bank ABC can provide an OTP Device This device shall be provided upon request.
Can I change my Username and Password?
Currently, you will have to use the unique username provided to you by Bank ABC. However, you can change your password when you are logged in to the digital banking platform. You can access the ‘Change Password’ link from ‘My Profile’ menu in the ABC Digital home page. You will also be required to change any password provided by the Bank. As a matter of good practice, we recommend that you change your password often.
The password should be of minimum eight characters, it should have at least one alpha-numeric character each in upper and lower case, at least three numeric characters and one special character.

What Is Bank ABC Entitlement Engine?
Bank ABC Entitlement Engine is a comprehensive set of rules which Corporate Entities can create to define user privileges while accessing the company’s bank accounts with Bank ABC using ABC Digital. This is primarily focused on enabling corporate clients to further protect the access to their bank accounts and assigning the accountability for various actions completed using the digital banking platform. This is achieved by creating user groups with specific financial and non-financial authorities and assigning individual users specific account access privileges and activity rights. One of the key functions of the engine is enabling a digital maker-checker setup. It is also possible to define the requirement of more than one approver for transactions exceeding a particular value or type.
How does Bank ABC entitlement engine work?
Bank ABC Entitlement Engine is designed to reflect the operational controls a corporate entity has in place already. It also provides additional controls via access and activity rights. For example, a user can only create service requests (payment instructions, funds transfer request, etc.) while a different user will be required to approve such requests, either singly or jointly with another approver.
How can access be monitored using the entitlement engine?
It is also possible to restrict user access to specific accounts – such as limiting access to loan accounts or trade finance related information of the company.
Can user groups be created using this engine?
The financial limits for user groups can be defined starting with Group A which will have the highest authority level. As many as six user groups, including the Maker group can be created.
Once the user groups are defined, users can be added to each group. The users will inherit the financial authority vested with the Group.
A user can be created with access rights to specific accounts and specific rights to create, approve, reject or delete a request.
What are the different types of fund transfers available?
You can transfer funds between your accounts or to a third party. For your ease of reference, we have created the following separate menus for each type of funds transfers:
Between My Accounts: For transferring funds between your Bank ABC accounts. Your accounts can be in US Dollar or another currency. Some restrictions may apply.
Within Bank ABC: For transferring funds to another account within Bank ABC or to another account within Bahrain. The beneficiary’s account could be in US Dollar or in foreign currency.
3. Interbank: For transferring funds to an account with other banks.
Please note that for these types of transfers, certain restrictions relating to timing, currency limit and the regulations of the country of the beneficiary’s account will apply. All valid transfer requests received after the cut-off time will be processed the next business day.
Is there a daily transaction limit for payments and transfers?
A daily limit applies.
Can a fund transfer be made any time of the day?
Transfer within your own accounts and to accounts within Bank ABC in US dollars can be made any time during the day. For other transfers, certain restrictions will apply.
Is there any charge for making a fund transfer?
Funds transfer between your own accounts and to other accounts with Bank ABC in Jordan Dinars are absolutely free. For other transactions, a charge may apply.
Do real time foreign exchange rates apply in ABC Digital?
We endeavour to ensure that the foreign exchange rates quoted in Bank ABC Digital Banking reflect the market. It is possible that there is a delay in updating the exchange rates in Digital Banking due to significant intraday rate movements. In such cases, we may at our discretion decide not to complete the transaction before we call you and inform you of the change in the exchange rate.
How do I know if my fund transfer to an account with a local bank is successful?
The easiest way to know if your transfer was successful is by checking the transaction history of the account you have transferred money from. If the payee bank code, branch code or the account number is invalid, the transaction will be returned by the payee bank and charges may be imposed. If you are unsure of the payee account information, it is best to reconfirm with the payee before making the fund transfer.
